We arrived in Las Cruces, NM around 9:30am (mountain time) and checked into Hacienda RV Resort. What a nice place! Very well kept, nice facilities, complimentary breakfast and newspaper. We would definitely stay there again if we are in the area.



Las Cruces is a nice town, also. Jim and Clare Law gave us a little tour to give us a feel for the area. We met Jim and Clare on our New Mexico tour. They took us to lunch at their country club and then showed us their house. They just moved to this house in June. They have a beautiful view of the Organ Pipe Mountains.



After lunch, Glenn and I went to Wal-Mart to restock the pantry and fridge. We both felt a little woozy, but realized we hadn't done much at this increased elevation so we were just adjusting to it.

Had a good night's sleep, took advantage of the breakfast offered, packed up and headed out to our next destination - St. David, AZ. It's really windy this morning and we've run into some showers. Temp. is around 55.
